General Details:
MIPASEAL aPU is a one component elastomeric waterproofing coating based on a water aliphatic polyurethane resin. It is used on horizontal and inclining surfaces (e.g. terraces) and on vertical surfaces. It presents excellent adhesion on cement, render, roof plates, wood, bitumen, polyurethane foam, etc. It can also be used for the encapsulation of asbestos cement surfaces. It forms a tough elastic seamless membrane which is impermeable and resistant to standing water and retains its elasticity even at very low temperatures. MIPASEAL aPU is high resistant to extreme climatic conditions (sunshine, rain and snow).
Instructions Of Use:
Surfaces must be cleaned from dust and flaking parts. Mineral surfaces are primed with Acrylic Primer. At least two coats should be applied crosswise, without thinning, with an interval of 12- 24 hours between coats depending on the climatic conditions.
Application method: Roller, brush, airless spray.
Thinning: When the product is self used for priming dilute up to 30% v/v with clean water. No thinning is necessary for the following 2 coats. Tools are cleaned immediately after the application with soap and water.
Notes:
MIPASEAL aPU is produced and strictly controlled with our in house quality control system. Containers must be kept closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight.
