General Details:
AQUA UNDERCOAT is high quality ecological waterborne alkyd-acrylic resin primer formulated for interior and exterior use. It has excellent adhesion providing high opacity and endurance to waterborne enamels, HYBRID GLOSS & SATIN. It spreads easy and uniformly with excellent flow. It is lead and cobalt free, low in odor, water repellent and resistant to saponification. It can easily be sandpapered.
Instructions Of Use:
Surfaces to be primed should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking materials, oil, grease and corrosive products. Rub down damaged, not adhesive old painted surfaces. Ensure the existing coating is in good condition and firmly adhering. New mineral surfaces like plaster and leveling compound are primed with water based acrylic primers. AQUA UNDERCOAT is applied by brush, roller or airless spray, in two coats, thinned with clean water 5-10% by volume. Cleaning of tools: Remove as much paint as possible from the used tools, before cleaning. Rinse the tools thoroughly with water and detergent, immediately after use.
Touch Dry: 1-3 hours. Sandpaper 4-5 hours.
Recoating time: After 5-7 hours the earliest. MDF, chipboard, rigid PVC, glass surfaces should be recoated 24 hours after application. Drying time always depends on the conditions of the environment which must be taken into consideration during application. Temperature during application and drying of the paint should be between +50C and +300C. These times prolong under cold and humid conditions. It is recommended to avoid the application of the product when there is the possibility of rain in the next 24 hours.
Notes:
AQUA UNDERCOAT is produced and strictly controlled with our in house quality control system. Containers must be kept closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight.
